Desiree’ Pittman was born on Long Island, New York in a small town called Sayville. She graduated in 2005 with a BFA from the School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York where she studied Illustration & Cartooning. She currently resides in Coram, New York where she lives with her awesome husband Jason, who is also an amazing artist.

Her hobbies include video games, listening to music, playing the board game Zombies, and spending time with her family and close friends. She also has a very bad weakness for Outback Steakhouse Cheese Fries and Cold Stone Creamery Chocolate Milk Shakes.

BOOK #1: Simon Says

Welcome back to 1996! Simon Williams is on the downhill slope of his senior year of high school. He spends his time hanging out with his friends Nathan, Eddie, and Marvin, talking music and comics with his new friend Angela, and working part-time at the local comic book shop. The only thing missing is the perfect girlfriend...if only he could convince his long-time crush, Morgan, into becoming more than just friends. However, when Simon gets the chance to win a pair of tickets to a hot concert coming to his small town, he thinks he has the perfect opportunity to convince Morgan. Little does he know that this show will set off a chain of events that will affect Simon and his friends' lives for the next year! "Simon Says" is a 10-issue comedy/drama comic book series about experiencing love, loss, and friendship as a teenager in the '90s!
